This is the founding document of Juan de Fuca Search and Rescue as a public service, and the notice text is a public record even though the newspaper page is not. Note the estimated cost of $15.09 per average residential assessment: 05_documents/2026-07-17_phase8_crd_records.md records the bylaw as adopted on 24 October 2003 with a levy cap of $62,000 or $0.102 per $1,000. The notice was run on two consecutive days, 14 and 15 September 2003, as a counter-petition notice.
