Archivist's note

Larry Talarico is recorded in PEOPLE_INDEX.md as an active Juan de Fuca Ground Search and Rescue member and a retired dentist, photographer and member of the Kludahk and Alpine clubs, and is proposed there for the project's honour roll. This death notice is the primary document for his dates. He appears again in the archive in the 2005-10-16 Times Colonist feature, photographed with Gil Parker atop Mount Adams. The notice as read does not itself mention search and rescue in the portion legible here; the JDF SAR connection comes from the archive's other files and from that October feature.
