Summary
A 14-year-old boy missing overnight in Sooke was located safe and sound, RCMP confirmed Thursday. Search-and-rescue teams and community members had been combing the Sooke area Thursday morning for the boy, last seen Wednesday. Juan de Fuca Search and Rescue set up a base in the parking lot of the Sooke fire hall on Otter Point Road, spokesperson Victoria Clarke said. Search groups from Metchosin, Ladysmith, Cowichan, and Nanaimo were also involved, along with community volunteers. Sooke resident Susan Jones noted a Facebook page dedicated to finding the boy had about 1,700 followers by Thursday morning: "The community rolled up their shirt sleeves and dove in."

The article as captured does not name the subject; the URL slug and search-engine cache suggest the original headline named him as Dylan Routley, 14, but the article was updated in-place when he was found.
